The new ApunKaChoice poll had the fans of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan sparring over whose film is the most awaited of 2013. Eventually, Salman’s fans had the upper hand. The coming eleven months of the New Year have on offer some interesting films from Bollywood, featuring a host of superstars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and, of course, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. If Hrithik would return as the superhero in Krrish 3, Ajay Devgn won’t need a cape or designer undies over bodysuits for his superhuman pummeling of the goons in Himmatwala. Aamir Khan will turn a baddie for Dhoom 3, and Ranbir Kapoor would be a shameless slicker in Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam. Akshay Kumar will turn a conman disguising himself as a CBI officer, of all people, to pull off daring raids at the houses of influential people in Special 26, and Shahrukh Khan would be the quintessential romantic hero serenading Deepika Padukone in Chennai Express. But the most awaited of all the films, as per fans, is Salman Khan’s Mental with brother Sohail Khan. The film, earlier tentatively called Radhe, will go on floors soon and will hit theatres around Eid. In our poll we got an overwhelming 5575 votes (keep them coming, folks), out of which 41 percent voted Salman Khan’s Mental as their most awaited film. The contest was a neck-and-neck race between SRK and Sallu.
